Circus

Chris and I took Reese to the Circus for the first time! We left Riley at Lady's so we could have a big girl day with Reese. We had a great time together. The best part was the preshow. She got to go down and see all the animals, walk on a tight-rope, the clowns and acrobats talked and interacted with her, and it was really hands-on. The circus was good and held Reese's attention most of the time. The circus was overpriced, but it was worth every memory making memories together!!

Reese Elizabeth

Reesie, this is all about you baby! You are growing up to be such a sweet, amazing little girl and mommy and daddy couldn't be more proud! You have adjusted so well to being a big sister and you are so caring and loving. Sometimes only you can cheer Riley up. You have a heart of gold and get your feeling hurt so easily. 98 percent of the time you have such good behavior. You just want to do the right thing and make everyone happy. You are so smart. You know all of your ABCS, can idenitfy all upper and lowercase letters, can write about 5, can draw rainbows, cicles, and trees, and can add and subtract using objects. I really think you could hang if you went to kindergarten tomorrow, but you have to hold off for 2 more years. Your vocabulary is amazing. You speak so well and are so expressive! Sometimes you are a little to smart and sassy for your own good, which gets you in a little trouble. We are working on that! You are such a good sleeper. After stories and prayers you put yourself to bed without getting up and never wake up in the night. You are so independent. You are really good at dance and gymnastics. YOu have the biggest imagination. You don't play with toys much because you are always busy pretending. You do love playing babies though! I can't believe I already have a 3 year old. You are growing too fast. I love you so much!!!!

9 Months Old

Riley turned 9 months on Friday! She is crawling all over the place and pulling up. She is into everything. Everything she touches goes in her mouth. We really have to watch with Reese's big girl toys. She is saying dada, mama, and baba now. She is so happy and loves to laugh and play. She loves to eat. Riley is not going to be a good sleeper. She still doesn't sleep through the night and doesn't take long naps. Poor baby has her first black eye in the pictures already. I wish Riley would slow down growing! It's going too fast!We love you Riley Grace!!!

4th of July

We had a really good 4th of July. We went swimming after the rain stopped, grilled hamburgers, and had some family over, and watched fireworks with our neighbors. G-Me made the girls adorable shirts and found cute shorts to match! Riley had fever off and on which we found out today was the flu so it's been a rough couple of days!

Dance Lessons

For Reese's birthday Lady, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Andy, and Sam and Joe got Reese dance lessons for the summer, the whole outfit, a cute bag, ballet shoes, and a ballerina doll, and book. Reese was so excited! We have been to 3 classes and she loves it! She is really good and is a good listener in class. I ask her if she likes dance or gymnastics and she says all of it!! I have a feeling we will be doing both for a while. I think it's adorable!!
