Thanksgiving!!

I have so many things to be thankful for this year. I am most thankful for my 2 little turkeys!!

We went to Lady's on Thanksgiving day and had such a great time. We have yummy food and enjoyed visiting with family. Reese played nonstop all day with her cousins. Riley stayed awake almost all day becuase she was afraid she would miss something!

Last weekend we went to Thanksgiving at my aunts house in Gatesville. We had a great time visiting with our family and enjoying good food. Reese and Daddy both got to ride horses and had a great time and Reese loved playing outside with her cousin Austin.

Gymnastics Evaulation

Reese LOVES gymnastics. She gets so excited each week when we go and plays gymnastics all the time at home. On top of learning lots of skills and being really good at it she is working on her listening skills and sharing. I think it is such a great thing for her. She had her awards ceremony when she got to stand on a stand and get her certificate. She was sooo proud of herself. After it was over she stood up there 5 more times for everyone to clap for her. She has mastered all of the skills at this time such as a seat drop of the trampoline, walking sideways on beam, kicks on beam, climbing walk wall, and front roll, and many more. When she turns 3 she gets to go by herself instead of mommy and me. I am so proud of the little girl she is becoming. She is so confident, happy, brave, athletic and outgoing(and a little overly sassy at times, but we are working on that!!) Reese Elizabeth you are an amazing little girl and I can't believe how much you have grown!!

Happy 1 month birthday Riley Grace

Riley Grace turned one month old yesterday. With Reese I was so ready for each new milestone, but with Riley I don't want her to grow because this might be my last baby! I am so in love with my second little princess. Riley is already in a size 1 diaper, 0-3 month clothes, she is only waking up once a night(I am so blessed with good sleepers), and really starting to notice faces and celing fans. She loves to hear her big sister talk to her, daddy to walk her, and loves for her momma to hold her. She is starting to like her swing and loves to be swaddled in the blankie. She is a happy baby and I am enjoying my time with her at home. I can't believe it's already been a month. I will be going back to work before I know it. Here are so pictures of her one-month birthday. It fell on Texan Sunday so she has on her Texan gear for daddy. We all put ours on every game day, even when we just watch it at home!

Adjusting and Trick-or-treating

Things have been going well and we are adjusting to being a family of 4. Things are much easier the second time around. Maybe I am more relaxed, realize the sleepless nights won't last forever, or a little bit of both! Riley is only waking up once or twice a night. Most nights she only wakes up once at 4. She is a pretty happy baby. I am nursing her, but she wants to eat about every hour and a half. We are trying to get it longer between feedings. Reese is such a good big sister. She helps me bathe her, wants to hold her everyday, and loves to get things for her. The only adjustment we have had with Reese is bedtime. She used to lay down after 2 books without an argument, but now it's taking alot longer. She does finally go to bed on her own after about 30 minutes and sleeps through the night. We haven't been out much, but when we have it takes forever to get both girls ready and out of the house.I think when I go back to work it might be a little crazy at first. We are blessed to have 2 beautiful, healthy girls. Riley is already growing way too fast for me!
Sisters!

Reese really enjoyed Trick- or-Treating this year. We have been praticing the week before. Reese knocked at each door and said Trick-or-treat and thank you all of her own. She was so proud of all of her loot. Riley slept in the stroller the whole time.

Reese's First haircut

Reese got her first haircut last week. I want her hair to get really long, but it hasn't grown in a while and was getting stringy at the ends. I thought a trim might make it more healthy. My friend Ann recommended a place called Pigtails and Crewcuts. We had a great experience there. Reese got a cute certificate with her picture and first curl. We have already framed it. I was nervous how she would do because she is drama queen when I fix her hair, but she did great. She loved sitting and driving the yellow car. I was so proud of my big girl!!!
