Trip to Galveston

After church today we decided what else is better on a sunny day to do than drive to Galveston for the day and go to the beach. We went with the whole Uschold gang. Well, Miss Priss was not about the sand and seaweed. She doesn't like to get dirty so that didn't suprise me. I don't care for the seaweed and dirty sand either(like mother like daughter.) She did love to sit in a chair under the umbrella and watch everyone play. She also loved the waves and wasn't scared of them splashing her, as long as we kept the seaweed off of her.

ENT

We went and saw an ENT on Tuesday. Reese has had 6 ear infections in 9 months. She passed her hearing test with flying colors which is good, but they did find a little bit of fluid build-up on her ears. The doctor said the decision was up to us. We could wait 3 months and see if she gets anymore or go ahead and get tubes. Well, after Chris and I went back and forth for a couple of days we decided to go ahead and do it. It usually takes 2 rounds of antiboitics to clear up her ears and then she gets a yeast infection from the medicine. I don't want her to get immune from the meds, so we are going for tubes on July 2nd. I am scared for her, but I know Reese is a little trooper and will do great!

Look at those blue eyes

Reese's Birthday Party

Reese's first birthday party was a huge success. We had 27 adults and 14 kids come. Reese is one very lucky little girl to have so many family and friends that love her so much. She loved every minute of her party. She got so many pretty clothes, toys, and books. Thanks to everyone who came and made this day so special for her.

Pretty cake and decorations

She is so sweet, happy, and is also very confident and a little sassy at times. Reesie, mommy loves you so much and am so proud to be your Momma!!! Happy Birthday!

Party in Gatesville

We had a busy weekend in Gatesville. I hosted a baby shower for a friend and we had a little party there with my family. We had it at my cousin, Kim's house. She has a beautiful home with lots to do. Reese loved playing with all the toys, watching her cousin Austin fish, swimming, and most of all enjoying visiting her family! She also loved her cupcake and opening presents. Thanks G-Pop and G-Ma for a great party!!
