Galveston

We went to Galveston Memorial weekend for Lady's birthday! We had a really great time visiting with family and friends and Reese loved playing with her cousins. The beach was not her favorite place. She didn't like the way the sand felt, but she had fun playing with toys while sitting in her chair. She did like the water and putting her hands in it.She didn't want to put her feet in it though.

Last weekend we went to Tomball to hang out with Mandy and Billy, Emily and Scott, and Jaime and Erin and the twins(Jackson and Ava). Reese had such a great time swimming and playing on the bounce bounce. They got along great! Reese also experienced her first kiss from Jackson.So cute! Mommy had a great time visiting her new friends also.

Crawfish Boil

We had a very busy Saturday last week. I took Reese to gymnastics while Chris mowed, I went to a baby shower while Reese napped, then we all drove to the North side for a crawfish boil. Chris got to see fraternity brothers he hasn't seen in a long time.One lives in California and the other in Austin. They all have daughters within a few months apart. Reese had a great time playing with the girls.

Mother's Day Weekend

We had a great and busy Mother's Day weekend. We went to Gatesville and have fun with G-Me and Pop pop. Reese enjoyed playing with the ducks, rabbit, goats, riding on the tractor and playing outside. We visited all of my aunts and then went to a wedding Saturday night. Sunday we got up, had breakfast and came home. Lady, Uncle, Aunt Jenny, Sammy, Joey, Grammy, and JoJo all came over for dinner that the boys cooked. Reese made me a beautiful flower vase she painted and added heart stickers to. She made the flowers out of her handprints. It's too cute! Daddy and Reese got me a prenatal massage and roses. I can't wait until school it out to get my massage.

Baby Shower

Yes, I am only 17 weeks preggo, but my kids and kid's parents at school wanted to have a small shower for me. They will only be my kiddos for 3 more weeks, so they had a shower for me today. We had cupcakes, juice, I opened presents, and the kids played. I am so blessed I teach at such a great school where the parents are so involved and thoughtful. It is not my neighborhood school because I have not been able to transfer yet because of budget cuts there has been a transfer freeze, but I am happy I have a job a love and a great enviroment to work in. The parents are always up at the school and I have formed a great relationship with them. Baby #2 is doing great and pregnancy is going by fast. Almost half-way and we find out what we are having on June 3rd. I am so excited!!!

They got the baby his or her's first new toys. They also got a very generous gift card to Target.

They even bought Reese a big sister present. Here she is playing with it when we got home!

Easter Sunday

We had a great Easter! The Easter Bunny came and visited, we went to church, and then we had family over for Easter lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt. Holidays are so much fun when you have a little one to share them with. She really got into the activites this year and is was priceless watching her!
