Have I said before that I love being home with Reese? I am so thankful to have the summer with her. We finally got our laptop back and running. Here are some pictures from playdates and our summer fun of just hanging out!! Reese is so funny these days. She is talking up a storm and really started to understand what everything means.

Reese dancing!!
Reese is a dancing queen these days. That's all she wants to do. Any song that plays or we sing she starts busting a move! Here is a short clip of her dancing to Old McDonald on her movie. She usually dances for longer, but stops once she notices the camera. Silly girl! We need to sign her up for dance class!!

Cameron Park Zoo
Mom took Chris, Reese, and I to the zoo this weekend during a visit to Gatesville. I wasn't sure if Reese was ready for the zoo, but she LOVED it. She loved looking at all the animals, especially the fish. Her favorite word is "duck" so she called all the animals ducks. Reese acts like she is a 5 year old running around wanting to do everything herself. We all had such a good time. She was also way too busy to stop for a picture, but we got some cute ones. I also got to see my friend, Cortnie's new week old baby who was so precious. It's hard to believe Reese was that small just a year ago. Reese is 13 months old today

Enjoying summer
Sorry for the lack of blogging. Our laptop is sick with a virus and in the shop. The upstairs computer doesn't take my memory stick and is as slow as a turtle. We have been enjoying summer so much. I love staying at home with Reese and would do it full-time if I could. But I am blessed to get all summer with her and extended holidays. We have been going on playdates, playing at the mall, shopping, and swimming. I have to get Reese out once a day or she goes crazy!!
Reese is learning so much. She can say Mama, Daddy, duck, that, bye, ellow(hello), Jack, side(outside), car, and is mimicking everything we say. She loves to dance at home and in her car seat. She responds to all parts of "Happy and You Know It" and loves to stomp her feet, kick a ball, and walk backwards. She loves to clean her toys up for now anyways. People told me to watch out when she starts walking, but I love this age. Here are a couple of pictures from the 4th my mom e-mailed.

Tubes
Well Reese had her tubes today and that part of it went well. We got there at 5:15 with Reese still in her P.J.s and filled out paperwork and they sent us back to the room at 6. They checked her vitals and took her away at 6:45. They gave her a mask when she went back to the room to put her to sleep. We got to go see her at 7. The doctor had to drain a little bit of fluid on her ear first. She was very sleepy and out of it! We were home by 8.It broke our heart to see her like this, but I know it's for the best so we can quit getting these nasty ear infections. Reese actually started having low grade fever yesterday and it got up to 103 during the night. She was up every hour. Luckily my mom was here to help us and then we had to get up at 4:45 this morning, so we had a very rough night. We didn't think they would do the tubes today with fever, but when we got there the fever went down after we gave her tylenol, so they decided to go ahead and do it. Reese has not felt real well today and has had fever all day. I don't know if it was the start of an ear infection, the tubes, rainy weather, or a virus. The doctor said to expect fever for a few days. So, we are just taking it easy hoping little Miss Reesie feels better soon. I hate to see her this way!!!
