Lady b-day

We had Lady's b-day part at Andy and Jenn's today. Reese had a blast in the pool. She could have stayed in there all day. She loved to float and kick.

First Steps!

Reese took her first steps today! I am soo excited! Before we got the video camera out she took 10 whole steps, but we have only gotten 3 on video so far. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of our baby girl. She is growing up too fast!!

Fun in the Sun

G-Ma came down this weekend and we bought Reese her first pool. She loved it!! She splashed and played. She even started to crawl in it and walk around it. Here are a few pictures. I will post more later, but the computer is moving like a turtle tonight!!

11 months old

My Reesie Rue is 11 months old today. She is becoming her own little person. She is learning so many new things. She pushes her baby bathtub under the facet, waves and tells the water bye-bye, loves to hug and kiss her babies and know what each word means. She knows and says mama when she wants me and dada when she wants Chris. She laughs at herself all the time and is copying everything we do. Reese is standing on her own and is sooo close to walking. She thinks about, takes one step, then falls down. I am sure she will be walking anyday day. I can't believe she will be a year old in a month!!

Trip to Ruston

We went to Ruston, Louisiana to visit some of our cousins. I was a little nervous about the 6 hour car ride, but Reese continues to amaze me. She was a perfect angel the whole time. We went to our cousins Gabe's 8th birthday and Reese got to get in her first bounce bounce. She had a blast!!

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful first mother's day. We went to church and then the Astros game on Mother's Day. It was a great deal. All mommies got a pink astros shirt and with our $10 ticket we got a hot dog, drink, and chips and all mommies and their kids got to run the bases afterwards.Daddy and Reesie got me beautiful flowers, cards,a pearl ring(Reese's birthstone), and a hand towel Reese made me. They spoiled me. I am so thankful to have such an amazing husband that loves his family so much and an amazing daughter. I never imagined how much I could ever love Reese!!She is such a blessing and I feel so lucky to be her mommy!

Early Mother's Day

G-Pop and G-Ma came into town last weekend for our Mother's Day Celebration. We had a great time. Reese was all about her Grandma and only wanted her all weekend and G-Pop taught her a new wave!We had a fish fry. My mom's camera will not load on my laptop without an adapter, but here are a couple of pictures.

Reesie is going to have mommy and daddy's curly hair. I notice more and more curls as it grows longer. She has a sweet little flip curl in the back. I love it!
