Anniversary/Weekend with G-Me and Pop Pop

The girls went to G-Me's and Pop Pops for 3 nights. They had so much fun. They swam, went to Splash Pad, made a lemon-aid stand, visiting with aunts and cousins, and went to Chuckie Cheese. Chris and I went to San Antonio for a night for our anniversary. We had a great time. We layed out, had a nice, dinner, shopped, and went to Howl at the Moon. It was a much needed mini-vacation alone. We love our girls with all of our hearts but I got pregnant 2 months after we were married so our time alone was limited. Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, but time alone is nice! Here's to 5 years and 2 beautiful daughters! We are truly blessed!!

Galveston

Reese has been asking to go to the beach, so on Friday Chris and I took the girls. We had a great family day together. It was alot of work packing for the day and the girls only lasted at the beach for 4 hours, but it was worth it. Reese loved the beach so much. Riley did not like the sand yet, but was happy under the tent on blankets. Reese was the same way at that age. Maybe next year she will love it. We had a great time!!

Happy 4th of July

We had a great 4th of July! I have been running with my neighbor and so Chris and I ran in a 5 miles your way race that morning. I am so proud of myself because I ran the whole 5 miles without stopping. After the girls napped we swam, BBQed, and watched fireworks in Pecan Grove. The were beautiful. We watched at a friend of mine's house so Reese loved playing with all the kids. Riley didn't care much for them this year. It was so late for her.
