Pumpkin Carnival in Gatesville

We went to a Pumpkin patch last weekend with G-Me and Aunt Sharon. We had a great time. Riley enjoyed walking around touching the pumpkins and Reese got to do lots of activites. She got to paint a pumpkin, hear a story,play pumkin ring toss, find hidden pumpkins, get her face painted, and pick out a pumpkin. It was so much fun!!

Friday night when G-Me and PopPop got here we took the girls to the pumpkin patch by our house to pick out our pumpkins. G-Me made their wtich's hat shirts. We got some cute pictures, but it is so hard to get both of them to look at the camera.

Happy First Birthday Riley Grace

Riley turned 1 year old yesterday and we got to have her party on her actual birthday which was extra special. It was a beautiful day and a perfect party. We had a yard full of kids and people so I was so glad we got to stay outside. We had 15 kids there. We are so blessed to have so many family, neighbors, and friends there. We tried to keep it small but we have a very close neighborhood which is where most of the kids were from. My mom and dad helped out so much because I have been so busy with work and the girls. Mom made the banner, water bottle labels, cookies, and outfit with help from my dad. My mom's friend made the beautiful, prefect cakes. My mom taught me how to make the icing and I did the cupcakes. I think decorating is in my near future. It't really fun and easier than I thought. Riley was such a good girl all day and was so happy. She loved her cake and dug in. We bounced, ate alot, played games like a cupcake walk, pin the candle on the cupcake, and pinata. I can't believe my baby is already one. I was so ready for Reese to take the next developmental step, but I want Riley to stay a baby forever. She is such a sweetheart and loves to laugh, play, and love on her mommy! She is an amazing little girl and I am so happy to be her mommy. Happy First Birthday Baby Girl!!! I love my little family so much and am so blessed!! The birthday princess
