Christmas!

We had such a good Christmas. We opened presents from Santa and exchanged gifts with G-Me and Pop Pop Christmas morning then we headed to Jennifer Ward's for lunch and more exhanging Christmas gifts of Lady, Aunt Jenn and Uncle Andy, GG, Joanna and our cousins. The girls had a great time. It is magical seeing Reese so excited about her gifts and finally starting to get it. She loved all of her gifts. Her favorite was probably her candy. She played with each and every present so I think Christmas was a success. Reese broke our heart becuase after we opened all the presents we went outside to see daddy's present(which was a big ladder from my parents) and she burst in tears. She thought we were going outside to see Santa and his reindeer.

Our church had a children's service that we went to. Reese got to go to the front and be a part of it and she did it. It was so cute!

If anyone knows my daughter well, they know she LOVES her candy and sweet so decorating a Gingerbread house was right up her alley. Also, gingerbread never looks as good as the box even with our help. Reese was so proud of hers though!

Visit with Santa

I took the girls this morning to see Santa. They both did great! Reese took Santa what she wanted and talked to him. She was shy so this is her shy face. I think it's good she got on his lap! I was proud of her.

Riley is 2 months old!

On December 13 Riley turned 2 months old. It was also daddy's birthday!Riley is cooing and smiling like crazy, is only waking up once a night, is giggling a little, and has found the fan and loves to look around. I went back to work on Monday which is why I am a little behind on blogging(I have been very tired). G-Me came and stayed the week to keep the girls and help us out which was wonderful. Here are Riley's 2 month pictures. Mom also made the girls matching shirts so we took some of the girls together.

Daddy's work party

We went to Daddy's work Christmas party Saturday morning. It was lots of fun. I love that his company has this party just for kids. We had such a good time. Reese enjoyed all the sweets, crafts, activites, and of course Santa and presents. Last year she cried and refused to sit on Santa's lap, so I was curious how she would do. She has been talking a big game all week and how she was going to sit on Santa's lap this year. She did a great job and got in his lap, but she was a little nervous and shy. I was proud of her. Riley did a great job and loved seeing the lights and being held by everyone that works with daddy. We had a blast!!
