Coming Home Day!

After being in the hospital I could choose if I wanted to go home or stay one more day. I was so ready to go home to Reese so we could begin our life with our new addition and with the pain killers I was 10 foot tall and bullet-proof. The nurses begged me to stay another day for rest, but I felt more comfortable going home! Here are some pictures of our last day in hospital and first at home!

Riley didn't even cry when we put her in her car seat. Such a happy baby!


We came home to a nice suprise! G-Me and Pop pop got us a huge assortment of diapers, photo album full of pictures, a banner and 2 beautiful pots for our front yard that we had been wanting filled with flowers. Thanks!







I must of done something right to be given 2 beautiful girls!

Day 2 at hospital!

Day 2 in the hospital was great! My parents came in the morning after they dropped Reese off at Ms. Lannie's. Riley settled down and was relaxing a little bit and nursing was getting much better. Aunt JoJo and Ann came to visit as well. Chris and I had lots of alone time also to enjoy Riley. After Reese's nap at school my parents went back to get her and bring her to the hospital. As soon as she came in she ran up to Riley and said I missed you so much. Riley stared at Reese when she talked and Reese is so proud of her. The bond between the 2 is already amazing. I was so worried about it, but every worry I had is gone. I am so happy that they have each other and I know they are going to be so close. Reese brought her cupcakes so we sang happy Birthday to Riley. Reese started getting pretty hyper so my parents took her home. She asked why Riley wasn't going home with her. That evening Uncle Andy and Lady came over and spent some time with us and brought us Chick-fil-a and shakes! It was such an amazing day. Day 3 coming soon. I have over 500 pictures I am filtering through!

First Night in Hospital

The first night in the hospital was a little rough. After the strong stuff wore off I was hurting pretty bad and the pain meds were not doing the trick. I was super tired so we sent Riley to the nursery. And I was starving and had only had fliuds since the night before. They brought her every 3 hours so that I could nurse her though. Once I woke up on my own and wanted to nurse her because she was sleeping though her feeding and I thought it had been too long. At 4:00 am the nurse came to take out everything and had me walk around. Why she couldn't of waited until daylight I am not sure. It felt good to walk around and I was starting to feel a little better. Poor Riley cried all alot. She was so hungry and I just wasn't satisifying her yet. I can't imagine the feeling being in this cold and scary world after being in my tummy so warm and cuddly. It was obvious she knew mine, daddy's, and Reesie's voice though! Day 2 post coming soon!!








Reese and G-Me made birthday cupcakes for Riley on her birthday and brought some to the hospital the next day so we could sing!
